Turbine's Lord of the Rings Online producer was there to give an official announcement about a new expansion pack. It's entitled "The Mines of Moria" and will be the first official expansion to be released for Lord of The Rings online later this year. It promises to bring a vast amount of improvements to the game as well as adding addition regions.

Three new regions have revealed for the expansion, the first one is Moria (Obviously) and the second one is meant to be Lorien, but Turbine haven't revealed what the third one will be yet. Two new classes will also be introduced, the Warden and the Runekeeper, as well as 10 new character levels bringing the game's cap up to 60.
