I really don't want dear Mabinogi to turn into another horrid gaming community so lets make a list of proper 'etiquette' while in game. We already have a few things going around about what to do and what not to do but lets make a general list so it's easy to find.

1. There is a difference between a Noob and a Newb, learn it

Being a newb is very different from being a noob. The words might sound the same but there is a difference between them. When starting out people should aim to act like a newb, not a noob.

Noobs tend to be people who beg, flame, constantly ask questions that are found in the FAQ and treat others very offensively. Noobs are newcomers to the game but unlike "newbs", they disregard rules and etiquette.

Newbs on the other hand are people who are new to the game but aren't as obnoxious and will admit to not knowing what to do. Newbs aren't going to go around acting incresingly annoying by asking questions.

Always remember though, we all start off as little newbs.

How to avoid being a noob: Don't beg people for things. Listen to and complete all beginners quests. Treat people kindly. Read the FAQ. If you need help with something you can always check the forums or http://www.mabinogiworld.com/wiki/index.php/Wiki_Home .
