Everyone likes girls, but not everyone likes weapons!
Thankfully, boys like both the girls and guns, and robots sometimes as well! The artist's name is GIA, and it happens so that his central theme in artworks is Girls in Mechas/Automats, or with Automats sometimes as well, such as guns.
It's not strange that girls are the ones being portrayed here. I mean, in modern FPS shooters, all you see are guys with guns (kudos to the exceptions), while the women are always in the kitchen, or so to speak.
These artworks maybe explain some kind of an inner desire for girls to take up arms and fight evil...or maybe even join the evil themselves...
