This time, it's very very honorable for me to interview my favourite cosplayer! She is very professional and she also has summarized the reasons for her top 10 favorite costumes as a supplement of the interview. Without further ado, here is the interview!

Q1. When did you first started cosplaying? And what made you decide to do it?
I started cosplaying in 2001 when a friend of mine had told me that there was going to be an anime convention in town. She and I both loved anime and seemed to be the only ones at our school who liked it, so we really wanted to meet other people in the area who were into the same thing. I've always loved dressing up in costume ever since I can remember, and figured that if people dress up at Sci-fi conventions, that they probably dress up at anime cons too. So my friend and I dressed up as our favorite characters at the time and made a lot of new friends who did too. That's when the addiction began, haha~
Q2. 'Animation', 'Video Games' and 'Original Design', which theme of cosplay do you like best?
I personally like making costumes from animation simply because I watch a lot more anime than I do playing video games any more. However, if I like a character and I relate to them, no matter what genre they come from, I will cosplay them. I like doing original designs as well, but there are way too many characters from anime and video games that I want to make, so I often push original designs aside.
That is a really hard choice to make!! I love all of them due to how much hard work was put into making the costume, and how each of them is different. However, out of all the costumes I've made I will always love cosplaying Komugi-chan because she is pretty much my favorite anime character of all time. Plus, she has a wide variety of costumes that I can make -- so I could literally cosplay her for the next 5 years and never wear the same costume twice!
Q4. Do you have a future cosplay in mind that you can't wait to do?
Oh yes~ and it shall be my next costume. I already have all the materials ready, but I probably won't be done with it until the beginning of 2012 -- "Welcome to my FanClub's Night" (AKA: Cowgirl) Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier!
