SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online Updated, Leader vs. Leader Mode Released

CJ Internet carried out a massive update for its online action title SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online (SDGO) on Jan. 26, 2012. The update added Leader vs. Leader, Chronicle Quest and Single Missions systems into SDGO and revamped some existing systems, in an attempt to allow players enjoy the gaming fun more.

Leader vs. Leader

Basically the same as common combat modes, the Leader vs. Leader mode requires the system to select randomly a leader unit from the red team and blue team respectively. The selected leader unit will enjoy extra HP recovery, various status effects, and two buffs - "Iron Wall Defense" & " Counter Fight". In addition, if an enemy unit is shot down, the leader unit will get 5 times of points than usual. However, being relatively large in size, the unit leader is prone to be the shooting target. If a leader unit is shot down by any enemy unit, the enemy unit will get 5 times of points than usual. Whenever a leader unit is shot down, the system will randomly select another unit as a leader unit.

Chronicle Quest & Single Missions

Chronicle Quest allows players to control designated unit models to complete special quests. The update added 3 types of combats into Chronicle Quest, i.e. Gundam Ground Combat, Jaburo Base Defense (1) and Jaburo Base Defense (2).

Single Missions are targeted at players who play SDGO for the first time. During the process of completing a main mission, a wide variety of side missions will pop up. Through completing these side missions, players will achieve the final mission objective. Through this update, two solo quest modes - Ground Combat & Universal Combat were made available to players.
